Walgreens opened their new Anatolia Store July 30 to record Northern California first day sales. Sales pace continued strong through the weekend - an important indicator of the strength of the Rancho Retail Rally. Chris Green, the new store's manager and Anatolia resident, reports drawing business from neighboring Anatolia and Rancho Murieta as expected. Higher than expected numbers of shoppers arrived from nearby Mather. Several people came from the Stone Creek homes off Zinfandel were an stronger than expected as were a number of "cowboy boots" originating to the rural areas toward Wilton (and beyond?). These are positive signs for market demand and a broader customer base.
