Chamber Office has a NEW Look!
It's been a long time in coming, but the Carmichael Chamber office has had a facelift. Everything from paint and carpeting, to furniture and decor, the office has a whole new look. "Thank you to the many individuals and businesses who helped in our remodeling process", said Chamber Administrative Consultant, Linda Melody. I love the new look and I hope that our members and prospective members will drop by for a visit. The new look demonstrates to our community that we are an active, vibrant, growing Chamber and we look forward to the future."

Crime and Homelessness Forum
County agency panelists spoke before 120 citizens who attended a Crime and Homelessness forum at the La Sierra Community Center on April 28, 2011. Representing agencies were: Carmichael Park District Chief Jack Harrison (left), District Attorney’s representative Karen Maxwell, Bruce Wagstaff (County-Wide Services), Sheriff Scott Jones, Supervisor Susan Peters and Kevin Shriver from Sacramento County Code Enforcement.

Race for Honorary Mayor is ON!
Applications for Honorary Mayor have be submitted and the race is on! The applicant who raises the most money during the campaign is declared the winner. The race ends November 11, and the winner will be announced at the Tuesday, November 15 luncheon. Three candidates have "thrown their hat into the ring." Learn more about them and how you can support them in their bid to be your Honorary Mayor.
