National Quality Awards
Mercy San Juan Medical Center is one of only six hospitals in California, and among the top 75 in the nation, to receive the 2009 Best in ValueTM: Superior Quality Merit Award, based on a national study of 4,500 U.S. hospitals and the value of care they provide. Mercy San Juan Medical Center also received 100 Top Hospital national recognition from Thomson-Reuters in 2007 and 2008.
Early detection of lung disease with new technology
The new superDimensionTM lung navigation system is a revolutionary technology, like GPS in your car, that allows surgeons to reach previously inaccessible lesions deep in the lungs for the early detection of lung disease. Early detection greatly improves survival rates for lung cancer. Mercy San Juan Medical Center is the only Sacramento area hospital to use this new life-saving technology.
