Rancho Cordova Fourth of July

Three cheers for the red, white and blue!

Rancho Cordova Fourth of July

Rancho Cordova Fourth of July is a two-day festival celebrating the local community and our American heritage. It is the signature event for the community.

This complex event engages more than 200 local volunteers, numerous service organizations and many business sponsors within the community. Its popularity is confirmed by the large audiences which turn out for the parade, two-day festival, free concerts and fireworks shows. It is produced by the Cordova Community Council.

Who attends the Rancho Cordova Fourth of July? Who doesn't? With its dozens of free activities, festival food, carnival rides, concerts, fireworks and more, the Rancho Cordova Fourth of July lays claim to the title of "premiere Fourth of July event in the region." No other community celebration offers the breadth of activities as does the Rancho Cordova Fourth of July. Attendance has grown steadily over the years, and has stabilized at more than 25,000 who attend the parade, festival and fireworks.

This event is marketed to the community and region through local media and radio advertising by sponsors on our behalf. High quality flyers are distributed through the newspaper, schools and community channels. The Fourth of July Committee collaborates with the local newspaper to produce a special section distributed prior to and at the event. The event enjoys wonderful pre-event support from local media and is often part of regional news coverage by television, radio and print.

Planning cycle for this event is year-round. Sponsor deadlines for collateral material including publicity flyers, programs and volunteer gear is May 20. Event marketing and advertising, including a publicity campaign, begins June 1.

Sponsorships for the Rancho Cordova Fourth of July range from $10,000 major event sponsors to $250 contributions. Sponsorship packages offer a spectrum of exposure and benefits of supporting the community's largest event. For 2013, sponsorship opportunities include:
  • Stage, fireworks and activity sponsorships
  • Kids Zone sponsorship
  • Beer Garden sponsorship
  • Parade sponsorship
No event captures the spirit of the community like Rancho Cordova Fourth of July. There are dozens of ways to align with this important community marker; let us find the one that matches your objectives.

The Rancho Cordova Fourth of July celebration requires hundreds of volunteers to do everything from providing security and setting up the event, to offering activities to the community. One group of volunteers does nothing but cares for other volunteers! At the end of the event, one or more outstanding individuals is named the All American Fourth of July Volunteer, an honor enjoyed for an entire year. Lifelong friendships form among Fourth of July volunteers and the experience, while exhausting, is fun and satisfying. If volunteering is of interest to you, CLICK HERE to learn more.

Vendor information, volunteer information, parade applications and more will become available in the spring. Visit http://www.RanchoCordovaJuly4th.com/ beginning in May for more details about our exciting event.

By far the BEST 4th of July event around. The park is a beautiful setting for the celebration, the music is always great, and the hometown parade is Americana at its finest. Don't miss it!
