All American Fourth of July Volunteer

Each year, the Rancho Cordova Fourth of July Committee honors a volunteer whose contribution was especially critical. In 2008, that volunteer was Brian Danzl, whose skill as an electrician helped make the lights come on, the French fries sizzle, the music soar and more.

A friend of the Fourth of July for several years, Danzl's skills also play key roles at community celebrations like Kid's Day in the Park, iFest and the Cordova Community Christmas Tree Lighting.

While many outstanding volunteers make our Fourth of July event possible, at the end of the day, it was Danzl who was selected as the "2008 All American Volunteer," setting a high standard for service to his community.
