Discount Carnival Rides
Discount Carnival Rides Get your tickets to ride!  
It's a once-a-year treat when the carnival comes to town and sets up in Hagan Park. It happens only on the Fourth of July. Only then can you ride to the top of the Ferris Wheel and see what a fabulous park Hagan is... wow!

Rancho Cordova Fourth of July welcomes California Carnival Company to the celebration.  They are no stranger to Rancho Cordova, and have brought their beautiful giant Ferris Wheel to events like the Holiday Ice Rink and Christmas Tree Lighting and Heartstoppers Haunted House events. For the Fourth of July, they will be bringing their full carnival, setting up a great show with lots of rides, games and shimmering lights.  

Save yourself a few bucks and get your tickets to ride - in advance. Discount carnival rides are available when you purchase a discount coupon through July 2.  Trade it in at the carnival for an unlimited ride wristband and you ride all day!  The coupons are just $20 and can be used on any single day, either July 3 or July 4.

The coupon can also be traded in for 30 ride tickets for everyone in the family to share.  

Coupons are now on sale at several locations, including:
  • Heritage Community Credit Union (Mills Center location only)
  • Grocery Outlet (Zinfandel Drive at Folsom Boulevard)
  • Rancho Cordova City Hall (City Services)
Don't delay!  Advance sales of discount coupons end soon!  Get them before the opportunity is gone for another year.

The carnival is open for two days only. Carnival hours are:
  • 4-11 p.m. July 3
  • Noon-11 p.m. July 4

Kid's Zone
Kid's Zone Kids Zone Attractions  
Designed especially for kids, there is unlimited fun in the KIDS ZONE. Take a train ride, pedal a boat... jump, dance, zip and shoot! There's something for every kid of every age from 4-8 p.m. July 3 and noon-8 p.m. July 4. Hosted by our friends from the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership.

The fun is non-stop at the California Carnival Company's Fourth of July Carnival! Catch the sights from the top of the 100-foot Century Wheel or scramble your senses on the Typhoon. Try your luck on the Midway or take the little ones for their first adventures aboard delightful Kiddie Rides. For the best deal buy Discount Tickets in advance!
BMX Freestyle Team
Up, up and away they go as the BMX Freestyle Team returns to the Fourth of July! These guys really fly on their special performance bikes. Showtimes are: 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on July 3 and 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on July 4. Sponsored by California American Water. Cost: FREE
Safety Helmet Giveaway
Don't run off after the show. The Rancho Cordova Elks Lodge is putting safety first during their Bike Safety Helmet Giveaway! Helmets will be given away after each BMX Freestyle Show while supplies last. Get yours autographed by the Team! Thanks to the Rancho Cordova Elks Lodge, this activity is: FREE

Laser Tag
Ready, set, go! You will duck and cover, run and gun at this exciting Laser Tag adventure. It's the ultimate outdoor laser tag party! Only in the Kids Zone, 4-8 p.m. July 3 and noon-8 p.m. July 4. Cost: $5
Bounce Houses
Dare to jump! Bounce house fun for kids, with a special Bounce House for toddlers! Open 4-8 p.m. July 3 and noon-8 p.m. July 4. Cost: Sponsored by Kids Care Dental, PG&E and REA Real Estate. Cost: FREE
 
Zipline Adventure
It's a fresh take on flying! Let yourself go on our 200 foot Zipline, open July 3 and 4 at the Rancho Cordova Fourth of July! This high-flying adventure is sure to get your All-American blood pumping. This attraction is not for the faint of heart, and guests must weigh no more than 250 pounds to ride the Zipline. Climb aboard for the ride of your life. Cost: $8
Bobble Lagoon
Make like a hamster and have a ball in the Bobble Lagoon! Climb into a clear ball and skim across the pool in this fun attraction. Mom, make sure your camera is ready! Cost: $6
Use your head!
Pop your noggin' through our Fourth of July cutouts and become an American Hero! Dad, get the camera ready. Cost: FREE
Gianelli's Goofy Games
Fishing in a washing machine? Target practice on a dryer vent? It's not exactly the Brave Little Toaster Invitational, but plenty of fun at the Gianelli Goofy Games. Kids can test their skills and win sweet surprises in this Olympics of Appliances! Hands on Fun
Join the Folsom Cordova School Readiness gang for hands on activities for the kids and resources and information for parents. Is your child ready for school? Find out! Only in the Kids Zone, 4-8 p.m. July 3 and noon-8 p.m. July 4. Cost: FREE
RoboParty Band
It would not be the Fourth of July without this boisterous bevy of robotic performers! Come rock and roll with the band! 4-8 p.m. July 3 and noon-8 p.m. July 4. Cost: FREE
Train rides: All Aboard!
Ride the rails with the Sacramento Valley Live Steamers Railroad! Rides are offered from 4-8 p.m. on July 3 and noon-8 p.m. on July 4 on Rancho Cordova's favorite railroad. You will take a cool journey through beautiful tree-lined countryside compliments of the friendliest railroaders around. Cost: Donations appreciated
Pedal Boats: Anchors Aweigh!
The Girl Scouts provide the boats and you provide the power when Pedal Boats return to Hagan Park. Open 4-8 p.m. July 3 and noon-8 p.m. July 4. Support local Girl Scouts and have some fun on the high seas! Cost: $5
FIREWORKS!
Fireworks bring out the kid in all of us! The Kids Zone is one of many great places to view our fireworks shows. Get comfortable! We have fireworks shows at 9:45 p.m. on both July 3 and July 4. Sponsored by the City of Rancho Cordova.
