HISTORY

Leadership in the company passed to Jones' son, Ted Jones, in 1968. In 1995, the firm's name changed officially to Edward Jones Investments, and continued expanding its offices both inside the U.S. and abroad in Canada and the United Kingdom. MEET NEAL GOVERNOR

Neal is a newcomer to our community.
Born in Medford, OR, he moved to Beverly, MA after high school where he attended Endicott College. While living in Beverly, Neal worked for Electric Insurance Co. and the historic Hawthorne Hotel on the weekends.
At Electric Insurance, Neal was a licensed insurance agent, licensed claims agent and also served in the information technology department as a quality assurance analyst.
Meanwhile, over at the Hawthorne, he was weekend night auditor and was responsible for all guest services, including guest check-in and departure, resolving guest concerns and the overall safety of the hotel during the night hours.
But the West Coast lured him back.
"Being back on the West Coast has been a wonderful joy; especially spending time with my little baby niece," he said. "Rancho Cordova is a little town in a large urban setting. I could not ask for a better community to establish my Edward Jones Investment office. I look forward to meeting all of the great neighbors here in Rancho Cordova."
