The 2nd C of Internet Marketing: CONVERGENCE

Drive more traffic to your website

The 2nd C of Internet Marketing: CONVERGENCE
If no one (but you) sees your website, then the best website in the world cannot be effective in marketing your business. You need to employ both high-tech as well as high-touch strategies to drive traffic to your website so that you can then CONVERT those clicks into customers.

There are many strategies to drive more traffic to your website. Some are low-tech vs. high-tech and some are virtually FREE! For example:

FREE promotion:
  • In every 30-second commercial you do for your business, be sure to end with "and for more information visit my website at www..."
  • On your voice mail message, end with "and be sture to visit my website at www..."
  • You can get your business listed on many FREE directories including Google. If you don't have time to do this, or don't know where to start, there are business out there that can help you
  • Ask clients, business associates, and vendors to link to your website and be sure to return the favour.
  • Make sure that all your memberships in various Chambers, Associations, etc. include a link to your website
Almost FREE promotion:
  • Brand your vehicle with your website name. You take your vehicles everywhere, so why not use it to promote your business? Whether you use a car magnet or go for a full vehicle wrap, it's an effective way to get your name out there. For less than $100 you can get started. With the price of billboards going for $15,000/month, it certainly is an affordable alternative.
  • Have a badge made with your logo, your name and your website. It's almost more importnat than your business name because if they remember your website they'll know how to contact you whereas just remembering a business name: not so much. And where that badge everywhere!! Even to the supermarket. You never know if you next client might be standing next to you in line...
Email Marketing:
  • Industry reports suggest that it takes 5-7 impressions before someone will do business with you. Emails are a very cost-effective way to stay in touch.

Search Engine Marketing:
  • More and more businesses and consumer are using the Internet to find products and services. The number is well over 65% and is climbing... The great things about the Search Engines is we can know how much potential traffic their is for your industry keywords and can measure your results.

Facebook Marketing:
  • Facebook recently surpassed Google in the amount of visitors in one week. CLICK HERE for just one of the articles. If your target market is there, perhaps you should be there too!
