So be sure to make it a GOOD one!
They say "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover". But, you know, we DO! And it is true about websites as well. Make sure your website is visually appealing, includes pictures that are worth a thousand words, and has content that will compel someone to click or call.
Kelly Grady of Basket Works & Beyond liked the fact that she could update her website herself. However, the tool that she was using was out-of-date so her website become more dated over time and did not do justice to her stunning gift baskets. She might not have lost many clients simply because her website was not impressive. However, if she could make sure she didn't lose any IN SPITE of her website and convert a few more BECAUSE of it, she decided it was worth the investment of a "makeover". "It's time." she said.
Mouse over the image to see the "after". With a heavy emphasis on pictures (worth a thousand words), a video slideshow of examples (worth a million!), testimonials, and easy navigation to examples and ideas, she can now be assured that her website will be an asset (and not a liability).
What's more, I trained her how to use the new 'state-of-the-art" website editor so she can still make changes herself!
Her response on seeing her new website for the first time: "OMG! I just love it! I don't know what I would change at this point, but it is just fabulous looking! I am so very excited to have an awesome website."
