Attended the last luncheon with Mayor Johnson. Wanted to say that once again the food was outstanding! I thought the Mayor answered all questions presented to him with ease and comfort; never stumbling for words or evasive. I would love to hear him speak more on the topic of Education are you planning on a specific topic luncheon with him again?

Highlights
Each month, the Cordova Community Council and Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce host a luncheon featuring a newsmaker in the community. This alliance of leading Rancho Cordova organizations brings together Rancho Cordova's "three-legged stool" of citizens, business and government in a setting that encourages teamwork and collaboration in our quest to improve our city. We call it The Rancho Cordova Luncheon… the one and only! That's because it is the only monthly forum during which all three sectors of our community turn out in force. It's our primary civic networking event.

Same great location, same great price, same great people. Big new opportunities to hear from those making news of interest and importance to Rancho Cordova.

Join us the third Friday of each month in the American River Room at Rancho Cordova City Hall. Luncheon dates for 2011 are:
  • March 18
  • April 15
  • May 20
  • June 17
  • July 15
  • August 19
  • September 16
  • October 21
  • November 18
  • December 16: Reindeer Games!

Attendance: 150
The Rancho Cordova Luncheons attract approximately 125-150 people each third Friday, constituting the largest regular public event of its kind in Rancho Cordova. Speakers have included Sen. Darrell Steinberg, Assemblywoman Allison Huber, City Manager Ted Gaebler, Congressman Dan Lungren, Sacramento Sheriff John McGinnis, Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson and many others who make the news. Programs such as BloodSource and the Sacramento Children’s Museum have also been featured.

Sponsors
Beginning in 2011, both the Cordova Community Council and Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce will be offering sponsorship opportunities during these important monthly civic huddles. If you are interested in participating as a Rancho Cordova Luncheon sponsor, please contact us.

Becoming a supporting partner of The Rancho Cordova Luncheon, attended by leaders of local civic organizations, business and government officials, amounts to a helping hand to citizen engagement, good government and a healthy city.
