Christmas in the Foothills

Explore a Christmas Tree Farm
Christmas Tree farms will have rides and hot chocolate to enjoy as you pick out that perfect tree. Decorate it with pine cones or other ornaments you pick up on the way.

Tour Wineries
Don?t miss Placer County?s family-run boutique wineries where the winemakers themselves will be pouring each taste of Sierra Foothills wines, all the while talking about their love of the land and the art of winemaking. But don?t forget, they are farmers too!

Visit Mandarin Orchards
This time of year, the Mandarin Groves are aglow with sweet orange fruit, ready to be picked and eaten. Learn about the different varieties of mandarins and why the Sierra Foothills is such a prime spot for the succulent citrus.
