Visiting the tree farm is like stepping back to a simpler time -- the look and feel of the tree farm is just as it was in the 1950's. Little Bear Creek Tree Farm has restored several of the original 1950's era Willys Jeeps that transport you through our forest where you can choose and cut your own tree. After selecting the "perfect" tree, you can either hike back down the hill or catch a ride on another Jeep. No need to hurry though because you may want to feed the fish in the trout pond, have a picnic on the grass, hike along the rushing creek, and play with your kids on the world's longest log see-saw. This year's theme in the gift shop is "White Christmas" ? you?ll find all sorts of gifts, ornaments and crafts created by local artisans. There?s also hot chocolate, cider, cookies, brownies and fudge made exclusively for the tree farm. If it's cold outside, don't worry! Gather your friends and family around the warm and crackling campfire!

We've been going to Little Bear since 1979! It has become our farm of choice for all our family (now 36 members strong). We meet there every year for a day of Holiday fun, cutting our own trees, shopping in the gift shoppe, and enjoying treats around the camp fire. The trout in the creek are amazing to watch!
